The Presque Isle Rotary Auction has been a community tradition for over 75 years thanks to the support of our local businesses! The format has changed over time, but the goal of raising funds to support local causes has never wavered.

In 2024, we are shaking things up a bit and offering three auction events. This online auction runs from Friday, March 22 through Thursday, April 4 as we again collaborate with Gregg Auctions.

We will also be hosting a Silent Auction at the Northeastland Hotel on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6. Friday night’s event is part of the First Friday Art Walk and will include exclusive items, including work by local artists. Join us between 5-8 pm to check out items and enjoy some refreshments. The Silent Auction continues on Saturday from 12 noon to 11 pm. You can bid on items or use the “buy it now” option to take it home with you immediately.

We will also be hosting a live auction at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 6, with a preview opportunity starting at 7:00 pm. Come join the fun of trying to outbid your friends and neighbors! The night wraps up with a community celebration in the Lounge at the Northeastland from 8:30 to midnight with music provided by a live DJ – Hands Up! Entertainment. All are invited to come join the fun, and donations at the door will directly benefit the Presque Isle Rotary Auction. 

PAYMENT- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express required to register.  Credit card purchases will be charged a 3.5% processing fee.  Credit cards used at check in will automatically be processed for winning bidders once the auction is complete on Thursday, April 4, 2024.  Credit cards will be the only form of payment accepted.

PICK-UP - Pick up location will be at the Northeastland Hotel- 436 Main St. Presque Isle ME. on Friday, April 5, from 5 -8 pm; Saturday, April 6 from 12 noon – 7 pm; or Sunday, April 7, from 9 am – 12 pm. If you cannot pick your item(s) up during this time frame, please contact Chantal Pelletier to coordinate an alternative pickup date and time accordingly.  Any item not arranged for pick up by April 24, 2024 will be considered abandoned. 

SHIPPING- All items require pick up coordination and will not be shipped.

ONLINE CLOSING- 1st lot will close April 4 at 10 PM with the next lot closing 10 seconds later, then the next lot 10 seconds after that and so on. If a lot receives a bid in the last minute prior to its closing than that lot will be extended for 1 minute and not affect the closing of other lots unless they are linked. Linked lots are lots that are similar if any linked lot receives a bid in the last minute than all lots linked with that lot will be extended 1 minute. Items with a quantity greater than one are times the money (bid x quantity=price),

BIDDING- Gregg Auctions LLC provides internet bidding as a service to Bidders. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly during the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Gregg Auctions LLC or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly during the auction. Gregg Auctions LLC will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Gregg Auctions LLC reserves the right to accept or refuse all bids. Bids above $5,000 may go into pending status and/or not be accepted. Bidders planning on bidding higher than $5,000 may need prior approval for bids to be accepted.

LOTING- Gregg Auctions LLC reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. Lot numbers and sale order may change.

WARRANTIES/VALUE- All property is sold as is where is. Gregg Auctions LLC may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising and on the internet but makes no representations. In no event shall Gregg Auctions LLC its representatives, employees or the seller be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.

INVOICES & EMAILS- After auction is complete invoices will be emailed out to winning bidders. CHECK EMAIL JUNK & SPAM folders along with your inbox folder for invoices.

CONTRACT BREACH- By registering for this sale you have agreed to all terms and conditions set forth. Declined credit cards and/charge backs on credit cards is a breach of this contract and may result in legal action with buyer/credit card holder responsible for all attorney’s fees.

MAINE LAW- Registering for this sale you have agreed to all terms and conditions set forth and Maine Auction Law, Title II, Sections 2-328 of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Statute of Frauds. This auction is under the jurisdiction of the State of Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulations, Board of Licensure of Auctioneers, 35 State House Stations, Augusta, Maine, 04330.
